When you become a member of the Royal Arcanum, you get more than just an insurance policy. The Royal Arcanum is proud of its fraternal side as well. Illinois is the fourth largest Grand Council in the Royal Arcanum. We have five active councils, listed on the left. As a member of the Royal Arcanum, you are welcome to attend the meetings and functions sponsored by your local council (as well as those sponsored by the Grand Council). Unsure of which council you belong to? You can easily check, if you have your policy handy: your council name and number are printed right on your policy. If you don't have that on hand, but have a recent bill or dividend notice, you can get your council number from that, too. Now that you've determined your local council, click on the council name to see what's new with them. If your council number isn't listed, please contact the directly using the special email address of at Missing at RoyalArcanum-IL.com. If you aren't a member yet, why not look at all of them and see what you're missing? You may already know someone who is a member and can join their local council. If you prefer, you can choose which council you'd like to be in based on their meeting location or their sponsored activities. Please note that there are several recent mergers of councils. Progressive Council # 940 has merged into Medora Council # 1648, and Maplewood Council # 1024 has merged into Fort Dearborn Council # 278. New Illinois Councils! Through the recent merger with the Lithuanians Works Association, LDS, we now have two new active councils in Illinois. Welcome!
